Amazon is making some big changes on January 21st, 2025.
Most notably…
- Amazon is eliminating the ability to create an instant FBA shipment. From now on, you will need to wait 15-60 minutes for all the items to process before you can start with the FBA shipment.
- Amazon is also eliminating the ability to print the FBA label immediately after the first scan. All FBA labels must be printed after the listings have been processed by Amazon. This is for new SKUs only.
On the plus side…
- There are fewer split shipments
- You can list up to 1500 SKUs for a single shipments (no more 200 SKU max)
- There’s no need for 2D barcodes or Excel Files for box contents
- The entire listing and FBA shipment process can be completed within ScanLister
While, we understand these changes are going to affect many people greatly. We are doing our best to provide you with all the solutions for listing and creating FBA shipments.
Keep in mind, these rules apply to all Amazon listing providers.
To comply with Amazon’s new rules, we have provided a new FBA workflow with a couple options:
1) Listing on ScanLister and finishing the FBA shipment directly within ScanLister. This video shows the Windows version.
2) Listing on ScanLister and finishing the FBA shipment on Seller Central. This video shows the Mac version.
