If you are printing the labels in bulk on ScanLister, then they will print out in the same order as scanned. However, if you are printing out the labels on Amazon, please keep reading.
Amazon sorts the SKUs alpha-numerically. That means to arrange data in a sequence where letters (alphabetic order) come first, followed by numbers in numerical order; essentially, sorting data that includes both letters and numbers, with letters prioritized first based on their alphabetical position.
In this example, the FBA labels will print out in the same order since the Prefix (ScanLister) is constant and Sequence (0001, 0002, 0003) comes next.
ScanLister-0001-3-9-2025
ScanLister-0002-3-9-2025
ScanLister-0003-3-9-2025
However, if you put in the Condition in the beginning, the labels will print out in a different order.
VG-ScanLister-0001-3-9-2025
VG-ScanLister-0002-3-9-2025
A-ScanLister-0003-3-9-2025
In this case, Amazon will sort the SKU that starts with “A” first.
To adjust your SKU Pattern, to to Settings - SKU Pattern. Make sure the sequence is before any other letters or numbers that will change.
